you might call me crazy

Unread post by musicalman865 » Wed Jun 08, 2005 4:04 pm

well listen, ive heard mostly all the dave songs, and last night when i was chillen in my room, for some reason i decided to listen to everyday, and even more so that you may call me crazy I went to track #10  ,yea, you all know what track that is. So the song went on and then I heard the chorus, again, for the first time in a longtime, to be honest, i loved it, (the chorus that is) with leroi's signature riff, and the guitar chords, now you'll probably call me more crazy, and please try to be open-minded, i just wanted to know if you think that if dmb put more work in this song, change some of the arrangements and basic harmony, but somewhere in there left that signature riff, this could have the potential to possibly be a decent song. i mean the original version on everday with that the verse and just the chorus, sounds too straight forward, and i think the verse isnt worth of the beautiful( to me) chorus riff. alright just a thought

peace,
mike

STDH is my non-DMB fan cousin's favorite DMB song. I am extremely indifferent about it.

I love that tune, for what it is worth. Before I never gave it a chance, but I "found" it by accident. One of those times where you listen to music, fall asleep, then wake up on some random song. Well, that was my random song and I kinda thought "wow, this song is awsome, what is it?".

Everyday IS better than Stand Up.

I was slightly apprehensive upon first listening to Dave playing and electric, etc., but overall it's a great album.

Stand Up is just garbage. Sorry, that's just the way I feel. Save for a few decent tracks it's a mish-mash of riffs and layers and none of the songs really go anywhere.

You can disagree with me folks, that's fair.
