Ive been playing guitar for like half and year, not great, Im ok I guess, and I sing along with songs like DDTW, Bartender, Stay, and Grey Street, thos were probably the easiest for me to start out with, but ofcourse its your taste and its your ability, you should jus go with what you think you could sing or what you would like to sing. The sky is the limit

Yea I usually play it like that, thats the fullest sound you can get..well unless you have a twelver, its the easiest of all the songs to sing and play to if you dont wanna tune down to D(so picky
), but all you need to do is stick with it, try not to loose rhythm, cause playing DMB songs, you can do that very easily with the strumming or your voice. If anything at first play the song as slow as you can without messing up the lyrics and then jus get faster and faster with it, thats how I learned to sing and play. Stick to it my man!
