I can't understand what you're saying, which I don't like. I think it's important to be able to understand the lyrics of any singer-songwiter. Other than that it sounded pretty good. It kind of reminds me of that Orange Sky song on the Honda Element comercial. And your voice does have a Bob Dylan sound to it for sure.

dude, what is your recording set-up? Not only do I love your song, it sounds so clean and clear. I can never get that sound.

Umm, I thought my recording quality was really bad on this song. I just used my pickup and an old shure sm48 and I recorded straight into the soundcard.

what kind of software are you using? I'm using cakewalk and I get a ton of hiss and I have no idea how to tweak post effects. I'm basically doing the same thing, but i go into a pod first. either way I think your song is really good. You have a very good voice for your sound. not bad for being sick all week.

I have software that is about 4 years old called magix. I think your cakewalk program is probably much better than what I'm using. Your Pod might be causing some of the hiss, but I thought those were supposed to be pretty quiet. Mabey it's the actaul pickup or mic that you are using(what kind?).

For little quick recordings like this, I only use EQ and compression.
