Since we've been on the subject of Clapton lately..

This is the place to talk about guitar playing not done by Dave! Topics about techniques, styles, theory, and other guitarists go here.

I'll once again mention my favorite site aside from dmbtabs:

http://www.12bar.de/

Its a Clapton fan site, but focuses on the blues. Great tutorials for beginners unfamiliar with blues structure, with key licks from his best blues playing. Also some of the other greats, Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, and Robert Johnson among others are mentioned.

Familiar with this site gcom?

tis a great site, but their tabs aren't as accurate as you'd think, but for that stuff, it doesn't really matter anyways. It's far close enough to get the songs down and they give a lot of great info on learning and understanding the blues.

I know, I don't even need them anymore either, but I'd say the majority of the people here do which is why I brought up the point

that is such a great site because you can go to it, figure out the progression in 10 seconds and then jam to the song.......... with all the guitar and other instruments in those songs I have a hard time hearing the 1 and counting the bars. It is still just a cool site in general though.
