Daves Strumming hand

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

ok everyone, agree to dissagree!

I think and hope at the rate that im going at in one more year ill be playing dave alot better. cuz a year ago i couldnt play sweet home alabama, the D to C thing in the beginnig. hahaha

how many years has dave been playing?

Just use him as an influence but not a copy.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay

You basically just reiterated what I said. If you try to write to sound like Dave, you're writing how Dave wants to write, even if it is how you, too, want to write.

I'm just saying that if you copy somebody else's style, sure, that'll please you, but you're not going to improve much as a songwriter or a musician.
