played for an audience

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

played for an audience

Unread post by gravesRR7 » Thu May 08, 2003 9:44 pm

Hey, i just got back from my schools talent show. it was awesome, i plaed LIOG , tripping billies, and the stone. there were a few hardcore dave fans in the audience which made it all the better. i just wanted to thank jkanter for all his work. i couldn't have done it without this site. thanks man. i got a huge response at the end of billies and the end of the stone. woo hoo. such a crowd getter. anyway, i thought i'd share my enthusiasm. thanks again DMBtabs.

i just had my first performance in front of an audience. it wasnt hard or anything... since i had my 12 string the guy just made me play so that it fills the sound.. basic chords.. it was fun though :)

I just played for my schools talent show on friday. We were the only band, like always. We played brainstew by greenday- very easy to play. After brainstew my friend and I went into some of the famous metallica riffs. It was a lot of fun and we got a big ovation. First time performing, but it was great.
Going to: Acoustic Planet Tour- 8/14 Tulsa, OK

ha ha, yes, everyone plays brainstew. i've heard people play it so much. but it sounds cool. sounds like lots of people just performed for their first time. personally, i had so much fun at my talent show. once you hear the roar of the audience, you're adicted. i hope the other shows went well for you guys. :D

i like ben harper's verson of that song. big time when he goes in to kashmir in the middle of it
"Will the people in the cheaper seats clap your hands? And the rest of you, if you'll just rattle your jewelry." John Lennon, 1963, at the high point of the group's set during the Royal Variety Performance before members of the British Royal Family
