So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

i know there was already a thread for this, but i played through all of em and i just thought something was missing
heres mine-
Code: Select all
Capo 3
E-----------------------------------------x----x------x----x--x----x------------
B----1p0-----------------*1---1*---0------0----0------0----1-(1)---1------------
G----2------0h2p0---------0h2p0--0--------0----2p0----0----0--0----2------------
D-----------------2-----2-----------------2----2------0----2--0-----------------
A--0------------------3-------------------2----2------x----3--2--0-0------------
E------------------------------3-----2----0-0--0-0----3-3--x--x----x------------
on the *1--1* you can also play that "1--0," both can sound correct

second chord isjust a standard C chord, but other than that, you're dead on, good job and great little tune...I didn't like it at all w/ D&F but w/ Carter drumming, it's just a prime example of Carter making something out of nothing...the vibe is so much cooler and actually having some coherent lyrics are cool. I think it needs to have a part or two added though otherwise it'll just get too boring, but it' sjust a hmm right now, so no worries, but I like the song and lyrics. It's close to my favorite. I listen to it more than any of the others...

I actually prefer the D&F version, I like the whole scat singing and all that, and timmy too. But Ive only heard one DMB version and I listened to it just once, Ill have to check it out again.

Is that the first time DMB played it, cuz I know I downloaded a DMB version, it was the first time they had played it. I guess I just preferred the opening lyrics and scat singing, along with timmys part in the D&F version compared to that one
