Guitar Sanctuary - Martins and Taylors not allowed

Unread post by Ranting Thespian » Sat Jun 19, 2004 8:44 pm

This is a thread to appreciate fine acoustic guitars that aren't Martins or Taylors.

Please, in here, NO talk about Martins and Taylors. They are talked about enough on these boards. Please, just other guitars here.

What's your favorite non Martin-Taylor guitar?

Mine are the Guild D-55CE and the Tacoma Cheif. Oh, and any Guild 12-string.
Yes, I am in a box

Gibson Chet Atkins...

Unread post by GrateDMB21 » Sat Jun 19, 2004 11:01 pm

Gibson Chet, I'm actually getting it customized by Fishman this week. Same guy that did Dave's chets and all his other recent guitars (Taylor, Martin) Guy said he has done at least 9 chets for Dave and he is putting the same electronics in mine as he did Daves. So I cant wait to get it back...

I personally cannot stand Guilds. I have no idea why. To each their own. Anyway, my favorite would have to be some type of high end gibson
