Have only seen one or two versions of Mother's Night out there and neither sounds correct.
Any ideas folks? This is a simple song, laziness, however prohibits me from attempting to figure this out on my own. Lol.

That's it. It's quite a simple riff. The song is found on a tape Tim made, before dmb, and maybe before even the beginings of STJL and IBUY. I believe it is just a riff with a poem that Dave wrote that he sang with the riff.

Yeah the riff sounds simple, and looks that way. Thank you very much for taking the time.
I enjoy this little tidbit of music because it does feel like an improv and because it's a glimpse at how Dave's early guitar noodlings have evolved into other songs, some of which much more complex than others.
