Can someone help me with part of LIOG

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

check dusty's video it should help out.

I also recorded the audio of it and put it on my website

http://www.enfuego.info

the first one has violin in it and is pretty old, the second one is just the guitar part.

I play this part(the 2-4 part) with a little more sliding action. I didn't really have too much trouble with this part. Once i got the first part of the song i kind of got the groove of it and just did it. I had more trouble with grooving in the 3x5/5x7 slide after the jam.
Just practice, cause the music is tabbed out right there and its not going to change. You just have to practice. Good luck

play along with the recording. Listen even and play it slower and gradually speed it up.

i know exectly what part you are talking about, it kind of sounds like a slide or a hammer, i finally picked it up after a while of playing. you gotta be kind of quick on it.

Thats Timmys part, you play an open D string then a 2/4 slide then just finish it out the way its on the site. I used to play it that way, I normally just play it daves way now but I throw it in every now and then for some flavor.

I occasionally switch it up and play it the way timmy does.. it's not very hard either way, just keep practicing..
