hi can anyone tell me what dave plays at "make it all alright, love"?
it sounds like he picks some individual strings but then again that maybe tim, if he's not then what is he strumming?! thanks a lot

I play x-3-5-5-x-x -> x-2-4-x-3-x for that part

the word he changes to the second chord is in bold: how you make it all alright, love

Hey everyone, what's up! I need some help. I've been trying to play Crush with the tabs from this site and by watching the StoryTellers video but am struggeling big time on the Chourus. I can't seem to get the rhythem or finger placement right. Does anyone have any tips (or video/audio) for the rhythem, fingering, or know of an alternative way to play this part, perhaps something lower on the neck where theres more room? Once I can get this part down, I should be able to piece it together. Thanks guys, I'd appreciate any kind of advice :wink:

you can just play standard F, G, C chords: It's (F)crazy, I'm (G) thinkin' just (C) knowin' that the (G) world is (F) round and (G) here, we'll be (C) dancing on (G) the ground (F) ......etc.

its the way I first learned to play it, until I found out how Dave played it. the first way was good to get the timing and whatnot.

that's cool. Crush was the first Dave song I learned from start to finish. It's one of the songs that "got me hooked" so to speak.

hey, saw you guys talking about crush. sat down with the bootleg of storytellers and jammed, it was awesome. crush is probably dave's best love song. its always good to re-visit an old song and learn to love it again. peace.
