Is John Mayer a better guitar player than Dave Matthews?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I am going through a phase right now that I love the clear acoustic sound. I guess this is why I love martins right now. Gonna buy one soon, really soon

john smokes dave and he is pretty darn famous...if he doesn't really screw up, he'll have a stronger career than Dave's hands down.

I dont know about that. Talent-wise, probably. But stronger career than Dave's? (Keep in mind I'm not implying strength of career has anything to do with talent) I think youre just being the devil's advocate here, cause unless your definition of career is different than mine, there's no way that makes any sense. DMB has been touring for over a decade, and theyve been one of the top grossing $ acts for the past 4 or 5 years. As much as you'd like to see your boyfriend make it that big, youre kidding yourself if you think he's going to.
