**NOTICE** TO Anyone I am B&P'ing For (new info)

Unread post by taylordb » Thu Feb 19, 2004 10:24 pm

Well it looks like my DVD burner is toast. It fried on me this morning while burning a show for a guy in Germany. I have tried all the technical drive checks from SONY and everything comes back bad.

I will try to resolve this as soon as possible. Rest assured, I WILL get another burner, but I am first going to try to get SONY to replace it.

It really sucks because the thing set me back $329. To try to look on the brite side of things, I can buy a new one for only $199, so I'm saving $130 then right :?

Anyway...if you have signed up for a B&P with me, do not panic...I will make good on it...it may just take a little time...but you will get your show...promise!

I sincerely appologize...but s#@% happens.

P.S. Whitney...yours JUST made it under the wire :D

Well the burner is officially toast. But Sony is being cool about it and will replace it. I will be out of commision for about 2 weeks, but after that it will be business as usual.

So if you have not sent your packages to me yet ....NOW is a good time to do it.

Once I get it back, and burn all my backlogged B&P's I will have a HUGE B&P offer in celebration of my burners return.

Peace

Message to all:

Just an F.Y.I about DVD burners. If you nedd to or are planning on buying one, go to pricewatch.com You will find the lowest priced burners here. Price watch checks and compares prices everywhere on the net, then gives you the lowest price. This is where I got my new burner. I paid $138 for it. It is an external USB 2.0 NEC 8x dvdr +/- and it burns cd's at 32x. I am very happy with it and haven't had any problems with it.
