official albums (please read)

Unread post by d.m.b41 » Sun Jun 29, 2008 6:31 am

Hi

I know I'm gonna sound like cheap piece of shit. but I need The Central Park Concert, Live at Folsom Field and Live at Red Rocks 8.15.95 albums... I would buy them but I live in Croatia where the record shops aren't exactly rich with content... I downloaded a bunch of torrents that contain these albums but every single one has silence gaps between songs - I HATE SILENCE GAPS!!! I managed to remove the gaps on all the other DMB albums with the iTunes encoder and I'm stuck on these 3... I tried EVERYTHING but I can't remove them

So if anyone has these gapless albums, please upload a torrent or something... or e-mail me, my e-mail is "kara.travno@hotmail.com" I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance

PS, if you don't have them, please don't take advantege of my e-mail, have some respect

okay, fair enough... then tell me, what am I supposed to do? I would buy them on Amazon or something, but, when you're 16 it's kind of hard to get a credit card.

They're 3 second little gaps... just listen to them the way they are

I can tell you that no one on here is going to up 3 official release albums. If that's what you're after... not shot, man.

ok... sorry, we do this stuff all the time here in Croatia so I wasn't expecting this... I would post this board on some Croatian pages but there aren't a lot of organised DMB fans over here... but, anyway thanks for even replying to this and, well, I took a shot.

Then again, if there's anyone willing enough to do this, i'll still be ckecking this board and you've got my e-mail so let me know

thanks a million

Sorry, on a re-read my post came off as pretty rude. I didn't mean to flame you at all. What I should have said is that this is a "DMB haven" if you will; people aren't going to bootleg copies of official release albums. If you *ahem* happen to find "info" on them like you did, just keep it quiet. Anyways, come join the community over in NonDMB chat if you like... we love talking to foreigners, right Fede?!

If you have them in iTunes, I thought all you need to do is just highlight all the songs from that particular album, right click to "Get Info" and there is a box to check to make them not have gaps between them. Amirite?

I thought of that Jayme, but from my own experience, it seems to never work?

yeah i wasn't exactly clear too, what I meant was, if someone can upload a such torrent on some external site like mininova or the pirate bay and then just somehow "quietly" notify me by e-mail or if you want, on this forum and I know that this is an unusual request, but, hey, you wouldn't be harming anybody... think of it as charity for people like me who live in a country like mine where we can't actually legally do this and just to be clear, i'm not forcing anyone.

i've been to a bunch of record shops and all i've seen is the Everyday album... and i live in our capital city so it's not one of those cases where the record shops are on the country side and have three cd's total

You could easily delete any gaps with Audacity. It's free.
