Tim Reynolds show

Unread post by mlb1399 » Thu Feb 09, 2006 3:49 pm

Ok, so I got my hands on a camcorder and I'm going to see Tim Reynolds next Thursday in Johnston, IA.

What do I need to do to make the magic happen?.......
...Talk to someone with a mic?
...keeping hand steady, etc.

Talk to a taper at the show. Maybe post at TapersSection.com to set one up. You'll need to sync the audio with the video; the audio from the camera mic with blow.

Beg, borrow or steal a tripod. Believe me it makes a huge difference and it allows you to enjoy the show. See if the venue will allow you to set up with you being plugged into an electrical outlet instead of running on batteries (you'll need an extension cord, plus duct tape to tape the cord down so no one trips on it).
Keep it simple....not alot of zoom in and outs. Tim is very easy to tape.
Cooridnate your efforts with other tapers by posting over at the Tim Reynolds website in this thread:

Awesome! Please remeber to post over at the TR site (see link above)...that way even if you have only a little bit of footage, it might be able to be used in a multi-cam project for that particular show.

Thanks for taping!!!

Yeah I already posted on there. I'm sending the tape to a guy named JohnII on antsmarching who runs dmbdvd so hopefully it turns out alright.
