Tips on getting started with B&P

Unread post by DSeibel » Wed Dec 29, 2004 1:29 pm

Guys

I want to get started with B&P. Can some one explain the process to me. I am mostly interested in Audio CD's, and maybe DVD's...but mostly just audio.

Thanks

Dave

Dave,
Read thru this thread http://www.dmbtabs.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=3583

That should give you the basics. Now if you do not have any shows yet, what I would suggest is to watch, on a regular basis, this forum as well as the trading forums over at antsmarching and nancies....people offer up shows now and then. Sign up for as many offers as you can. If there is a particular show you are looking for, then post an "ISO" (in search of) thread....asking (very nicely) for someone to do a B&P of the show for you.

If you have the ability to download, you can get a great deal of shows using Bit Torrent. A great one that just came online is this one:

Good Luck!!

I'll do a 3 show audio BnP for you when I get back from the Capital One Bowl game on Wednesday. Click on my links below to see my list and read my rules on doing a bnp.

OK, I've got your list. So basically I send you (within an outer mailing envelope) 3 blank discs in their own bubble wrap package (return address and postage included) with a note on which shows I want.

Questions - How much postage am I suposed to include (I suspect my local post office will tell me this)

And where are you located ?

Can I send them now ?

Thanks very much

Dave

Never Mp3. I don't know exactly what its called, but it's not audio and you probably don't want to mess around with mp3's. I will private message you when I get back from trip to set this up, so if you can wait until next week that would be great!
