Who has Shows or Videos to share

Unread post by 865861 » Fri Sep 24, 2004 12:38 pm

We are all friends here at dmbtabs, I know of a few people like jeffro that has been kind enough to share his shows. I have been looking a searching for years to meet up with like minded people and exchange our music and videos. Please let us know who you are.

I have recently check out Jason Mraz and have been very impressed with his acoustic jazz like style. If you haven't checked him out, I recommend you do. Another Virginian!

You might want to post this is the trading forum.

But I am always looking to do a trade and I have 2 B&P offers currently going in there for a Phish show (either 11-2-98(covers Dark SIde of the Moon) or 10-31-95(covers quadrophenia)) also I have an offer for 12-29-92 Dave Matthews Band at Trax. Go there and sign up if you're interested as there is still room for more.

what would someone do if , they never had the money or time to invest in recording at the shows but, like everyone hear at dmbtabs, would like to have and listen to various show recordings of dave.

is there anyway for someone to get started?

does that one person have to hook you up with a show for you to start your own long trading collection?

basiclly, I am a huge fan like everyone else and love to play only dave on guitar and would like nothing more than to listen to as many variations of shows as possible. what suggestions are there.

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": Do you use this word? Alcoves?

i know someone just said this - but you'll find many, many answers in the trading forum
to answer your question, it really isn't "trading" anymore, you ususally won't give away a show of yours to get someone elses, you'll get a copy so you do'nt have to give yours away

heres a great website - antsmarching.org - plenty of FAQ's there, not hard to start getting as many shows as you want

Yeah go to that site or the tradin forum and read up. The way that I got started and the way most people do is not by buying recording equipment and going to the shows and taping them. Unless they know someone who trades they start out by doing B&P's. It stands for blanks and postage which means you send blank cd-r and a return envelope to a person who burn 1 or more of their live shows. When they burn them, they send it back to you in the package you originally sent. People here are generous enough to do them frequently. Once you get a base going, you can go to db.etree.org or phishook.com, which are both active trading sites. The only cost associated with this process is a blank cd ($0.40) and postage which might be a few bucks.

For more on the B&P process read:

If you have the blank cd's and can afford postage both ways I have two different offers you can sign up for at:

Good luck.

Keep watching this (Trading Depot) forum...there are B&P offers posted fairly frequently....take advantage of them to build your collection......then take what you got and share it; that's what its all about.
You're only as strong as the tables you dance on.
