Announcement from the groove **UPDATED**

With the groove being down for over a week, and poor preformance for weeks before then, im proud to announce its about to back...

Update: 08.03.2004 -- As a result of all the work we have been doing behind the scenes, we have decided to upgrade the servers once again. You will now see a huge preformace difference as well as new features. The site will start becoming live around 7pm EST, or as soon as your DNS progragtes.

yea thats good too, i started out a few years ago on ftp servers and then torrents, i have an extensive collection of sites and servers saved on my computer at school

only thing that sucks about etree is there is SO much phish and grateful dead that you almost have to know what you want before you go there... not as much browsing as the groove

i just search on bt.etree

yea im just saying i like the sites like the groove and archive.org(even though its just a link to etree servers its a good interface) where you can just look through lists of music until something catches your eye. DC is ok for that if you can find a decent hub, SHNapster usually sucks

ahh the etree tracker isnt looking too bad actually, not as loaded with GD as i remember

On etree they have a check box to filter out the phish and greatful dead shows if you don't want to see them.

The entire Sharing the Groove team continues to be committed to resolving the intermittent access issues you have experienced. In addition to all the upgrades we have done, we added 1 new server to assist with the new tracker and speed of the message board. The access issues that you have been experiencing, have been fixed. Sharing the Groove will be going live tommorow. (August 8, 2004)
