We have a winner!!! Well, actually 2...it was a tie between amyb and daxman. They each win the grand prize 8 cd disk Gorge box set, plus the DVD show. Congratulations amyb and daxman!

Grand Prize? That must mean there are other prizes, right? Well there are. Each person that posted their act of kindness will receive the 8 cd disk Gorge box set as a freebie :D :D

Acts of kindness are really not ment to be judged, and I realized that early on after this started...so everyone's a winner.

Actually,I really just wanted people to think about the last time they did something nice for someone else.

Stay tuned for the June contest...matty has a great theme in mind 8)

EDIT: I will be getting touch with all of you for addresses so I can send the shows out.
danny and matty i already had so much respect for you guys - it just went sky high - you guys are amazing

You guys truly are studs. I have worked with both of you a little and respect you greatly. It is nice to know there are people willing to sacrifice of themselves as much as you two have for most of us here. Thank you.

On a side note, I think a theme of "Most Embarassing Moment" would be a fun one.

I know a winner was already picked and what not, but I did a good deed today and I'm going to share it. A woman came into my work today (I work in a photo lab) with a very large and old picture of her husband and his brother when they were little. I had shut everything down and was ready to go home, but she really needed this picture to be done tonight to give as a present tomorrow morning. So, I flipped the machine back on and waited five or ten minutes for it to warm up and what not. The woman and I had a nice conversation about the "olden days"..it was sort of fun. :) Anyway, the picture was huge..probably 14x18 or something like that, and it took me a good 40 minutes to keep on scanning it on so the boys' faces were in it. Finally I got it to fit, adjusted the color, cropped it, and printed it all out. By the time it was all finished, the woman had spent about an hour and a half in the store with me. So I go to check her out and she doesn't have any money. She offers to go home and come back, but I figured that would be very inconvenient for her, so I just payed for it. She was so grateful and very nice. She said she is going to come back and pay me back tomorrow...but the funny thing is that I don't care if she does, it was satisfying just to see her happy about it. I know this isn't a very big deed, but I thought I would share it anyways.

That's a great act of kindness Whitney....we all need to take your example and be more patient with people.
