DMB 11/27/1991 Freebie!

Unread post by Morphius » Wed Jul 20, 2005 12:28 am

I'm cleaning out some duplicate shows, and just found this. It's a two disc show, on Verbatim CD-Rs with no writing. This is a flac copy, not audio. ffp.txt verifies with etree.org and all files pass internal checksums. Shows are not named properly (someone appended the song name to the end) but can easily be fixed.

Satellite ~
Exodus G1
Typical Situation G1

Guests:
G1 Darryl Rose

Notes:
* Dave Solo

^ This could very well be the earliest recording of Dancing Nancies, predating the Quad demo.

~ This is the earliest recording of Satellite. It barely resembles the song as we know it now.

despite what the text file says, most of these recordings are the earliest LIVE recordings of certin versions of these songs (the rutabaga demo predates this show). This represents the most complete show from 1991.

On Exodus and Typical, Darryl Rose played the bongos. He performs in the group Afrikan Drum Festival and is also a solo artist.

First one to post that knows what to do with .flac files gets it!

Note: This is also posted over at antsmarching.org, so even if you are the first to post here, you may not get the freebie. I'll still B&P for you though if you'd like.

if it's open for a freebie i'd love it.

Haha I understand how to use flac. I only put that in there because I know a lot of newbies who jump on freebies without reading them. I didn't want to send it and then get bitched out for not sending an audio copy.

You are the first to post, so... you win! PM me your mailing address and I'll send it out first thing.
