I never received an e-mail. Saw on the board that my branch was having computer problems, so I didn't worry, but it has been a while now and still no word. Great idea, but it didn't work for me. I voted "1".

I haven't voted yet because I haven't received my discs, and I haven't heard a word from my branch, Jeff from Washington. I realize branches are doing huge favors for all of us, but an update would be greatly appreciated. I'm not really sure where to go from here. Should I email him?

I was a branch and one problem for me was that its was right during the last two weeks of school, that made my turn around time slower. I bet there were several other people that this effected. Summer trees will probally go a little quicker. Unless people are away at shows. Also one thing for people to remember is some of us don't have high tech burners, it takes me around and hour and 45 minutes to burn both discs.

And as far as people asking if they should email there branch
as far as I go, I don't mind emails at all. communication is key, it takes someone 10 seconds to respond to an email

just my opinions, thanks for putting together yet another successful tree Will, can't wait to be part of more :D

But phoenix44 offered to take my leaves for me so i'm going to PM him back right now...i'll shot will and email later and if he agrees i will email my leaves tomorrow

I figured I would offer a branches point of view. I dont as a matter of practice email leaves to let them know their discs are here or to let them know that they are on their way back. I think doing that only slows down the process of getting them burned and back on their way. I have a turnaround time of 1-2 days unless its a weekend or I am out of town on business. As far as leaves following directions, I have had mixed results. I keep records of who follows directions and when they are looking I will help them again. I always ask people to read the http://www.mcnichol.com/bnp link and follow these directions exactly. I still get money instead of stamps (for my friends up north this is OK, eh!). metered postage, reused mailers (my pet peeve), no return address etc. A note to those that care, I have also adopted a practice where I dont allow address changes; this prevents unscrupulous people from trying to redirect BNP packages given that the trees are often public info (all the email addresses).

As far as the trees themselves, Will does a heck of a job putting everything together and making sure that all leaves get taken care of.

Thanks
Jay

My thoughts exactly! Except Jay was the first one to hook me up with DVD's. THanks man!

I think Wil did an amazing job organizing and coordinating this and he's still at it following up on things. Hat's off to you Will for a job well done.

My branch never contacted me  (read in a thread somewhere he had burner problems) but cjmartin315 was kind enough to offer to do the show for me so I will have it soon.

I rate it a "10" (Can't hold Will responsible for my branch)

Thanks Will for all of your hard work, looking forward to the next.
Thanks to you too Jay, you are always so generous.

They're both awesome. Jay helped me fix my 4.20 DVD because the person that copied it for me didn't know what he was doing. Will helped me figure out how to use the burners on those "damn Macs" we have at school. Big thumbsup to both of you :).

Oh yeah, Rob also kicks ass :D

It went great for me...Matt hooked me up pretty quick. All the way up here in Canada :)

I would like to be a branch now that I have a burner.

You have mail Will.

I'm a Jeff from Washington, but I think the other Jeff from Washington was your branch. He's done a DVD for me and I'm sure there must have been an email problem or something. I'd send him an email and ask him about it. If you don't have any luck, I'll help you out.

Just wanted to say thanks to Will and everyone involved. Sorry that the rating only goes to 10. Would have given it a 20. Process was super smooth and I can't give enough thanks to my branch (will defer from saying their name just in case). Anyway, Will, thanks again and thanks to all the branches for taking care of us.

Also, Will, I'll be emailing you soon regarding another issue you might find interesting.

I have to give it a 10!! My branch was GREAT! (Dave P.)He told us that he did not have the show yet (would get in a week) but he would appreciate us sending him the discs now so when he did get the show he could start burning ASAP. I thought that was a great idea. So I sent mine out the same day I got his email and within 2 weeks I had it. I also want to say a BIG THANK YOU TO ROB!! (Phoenix44) I have dealt with him a couple of times and he is WONDERFUL! It is people like him that make this place great! I hope others get a chance to deal with him too becasue they will quickly see what I mean. So please keep the trees coming!! I just love them!! It is a great way of getting the shows without asking for them. It always seems better to me when something is offered. I don't like to ask for them because I don't want to come off as rude or anything. So again, please keep them coming!!
