ISO Rare Dave songs
Hey all-
I'm in seach of some rare dmb songs. If anyone has these in any format I'd be willing to trade for them....
Dressed in Black (sound board check)
Build you a House (supposedly recorded durring lillywhite sessions)
Light lift me up (Light lift me up)
MacHead (recorded durring BTCS, but never made it to album)
Kind Intentions
Eyes of the World
Or anything else I don't know about would be cool too.

you're not going to find anyone with machead because no one outside of the band's inner circle has ever heard the song.busted stuff wrote:Hey all-

Re: ISO Rare Dave songs
actually that's what isn't true. whatever you found on direct connect is either a mislabled Kind Intentions or Reconcile our Differences or some other random jam.CPTino3001 wrote:

"Forget about what you are escaping from," he said, quoting an old maxim of Kornblum's. "Reserve your anxiety for what you are escaping to."

Dressed In Black, Light Lift Me Up and Kind Intentions you can find on any file-sharing network (I found them on KaZaa). Kind Intentions has only been teased live, but there are some recordings of it out there. Eyes of the World is from the 8.11.95 show, so if you want, I would say look for the whole show (it's a great one). "Build You a House" isn't out there, because the only known recordings of it are teases (6.26.00, 8.26.01). And like he said, MacHead doesn't exist outside of the band and their peeps. Just thought that might help ya out.busted stuff wrote:

Hmmm...I know it's been teased occasionally, and that a song called "Me and Her" was played once in 94 that sounds similar, but I wasn't aware that KI had ever been played live because of it's personal nature. Any idea when the date on that was?DMBFreak84 wrote:and it was played live, not sure when, but i have an mp3 of it and after the song you can hear the crowd cheering
