DMBTabs file swaps?

Would it be possible to set up some kind of direct connect w/ the DMBTabs folks? Everyone sorta knows each other or at least recognizes each others names. Is there anyway to set something like this up so we can upload and download from each others dave files with in our own little community that we have here?

would anyone be even interested?

ha, cool I was just trying to help other people out with trading stuff. I didnt think I'd get a smart allic comment back. I'll just take that as no.

We could just use ICQ or AIM between one another I think. Maybe have some sort of area where those of us who are willing could put our info? Also, I'm not sure how it could/would be setup but I'm using something called Bit Torrent Now for getting Phish shows which seems to work pretty well. Only bad part about the program is how it sucks up pretty much all your bandwidth.

i was just messing around....it's not a bad idea..i dont know whether or not it would work....

i just don't htink it's necessary considering there are already a couple out there.....but if it were to go up i would use it....

whatever is fine w/ me. I use Direct Connect but what gave me the idea is that I have the hub/server whatever it is for people who are just at my school. I thought maybe to help the DMBTabs people out something similar could be made. Anythings cool w/ me. I just thought I'd post the idea

i could share with you guys my 22 or so gigabytes worth of DMB live (that includes D&T shows too)
and i could also get other shows i dont have

I could share my 9GB or so. If someone could set up a hub that would be cool. I have no idea how to do that, but if someone knows how, that would be kinda cool to have our own hub. It would be cool to somehow have people join the site in order to log in.

that could be a usergroup use.....only people in the user group would know how to access the hub.....and you have to post a certain amount or something like that....

just running with the idea....

Now we're rollin. I like that idea of the usergroup. I remember an old dmb hub that you had to email someone and tell them what you had, then they would tell you how to log on.
