I know your new, but first off, this site probably isnt the best for dvds, try http://www.sharingthegroove.org and secondly, youre not supposed to ask for shows until two weeks after the show, which is starting to become a pretty dumb rule when youre talkin audio because they come out like the next day half the time. But as for dvds, it takes normally a few weeks to make a dvd if the guys are really on top of their shit. I know your not asking for a b&p or anything, but give it some time before you ask for it the show was less than 2 weeks ago, keep checking the groove and if theres any news on it, someone will let you know.

Yeah, listen to jsgksu. However, you could simply ask a different question like "Does anyone know if 1-16-04 was videotaped?"

Just a friendly word of advice:

DVD's take a tremendous amount of effort to do them right and it is time consuming. 1st you have to find a good audio source, then the audio needs to be sinc'ed perfectly with the video, chapter marks need to be created at the correct points between songs, a menue has to be created....etc, etc

The normal "2 week rule" does not apply to DVD trading. I would wait at least 6 weeks before I would ask about weither a show was available...and even then I would tread lightly.

I know you did not mean to be pushy....just giving you a heads up because on some boards you would be flamed pretty hard.

EDIT: I found this over at sharing the groove that might help:
"...please do not ask for DVDs of shows that just took place. Most DVDs take a while to be converted and released. Please no not ask for any video for a min of 4 weeks (30 days) after the show date, even that is really really to soon but it is much better then asking the next day."

Hell yeah.. I don't even know what style of dancing that was, it was just sicky icky that's all I know..And I wish I could flow like that. Oh yeah.. and Bathtub Gin was sick.. Never heard it before, but figured it was a phish cover.

No one seemed to recognize sweet up and down.. Maybe all those surrounding us Jumped on the band-wagon with the "some devil" release, and weren't really familiar with dmb. Even with that dancing, Id still take a DMB concert any day over Dave and Friends.

I dont know, theyre two different worlds, it was great to see a D&F show, it was much more intimate, but still high energy, and I wa able to get extremely close which Ive never been able to do at a DMB show. It was also great to see all new songs played for the first time, or for only the 3rd or 4th, and the dancing was nuts. Id deffinatley enjoyed 12/20/03 and would call it the best concert Ive ever been to.
