just got home from the Dave Matthews Cover Band

Damn....I'm pretty faded here but just wanted to see if anyone else has seen these guys. Prettty much if I was blind I would have been stoked to go see Dave for only $16....This guy is pretty dead on except for the extra 40 lbs. :shock: His name is even "Dave." Their guy on the horns is rediculous and the drummer is quite sick....overall it was a pretty great night with some excellent music....They opened with warehouse and closed with watchtower. A best of the best setlist...If anyone has a chance to check em out go for it. K I'm kinda rambling but lemme know if anyone has seen them or has any comments on what they are all about...If ur in vegas later this week its worth it to stop by Mandalay....Is Ben Harper really opening up this year??? I'm gonna be broke....See ya at every California show...ok I'm outty...Goodnight....

yeah i saw them a while ago...they played a pretty good set opend with ants and closed with trippin billies...i wasnt "faded" enough, however

I live on the west coast and have never heard of this "cover" band. They've been on the boards lately and i've checked out their site but never have i heard of them around here, OR/CA.

I think I saw that they were from Atlanta or someplace in Georgia, so i would assume that they play quite a bit around the southeast coast.

Yeah, they are from athens, georgia. I think this is the first time they have ventured out west. Majority of the time they play in the southeast. If you can check them out you should. They're great.

I keep missing out on these guys, or every other dmb cover band for that matter...i wish they'd come through florida more, i need a dmb fix during the offseason.
