just curious as to which songs made y'all fall in love with their music
my brother was a fan and told me to download some of their stuff to see if i liked it, for some reason i like to download videos instead of music so i got "all along the watchtower" from woodstock....
that pretty much did it for me

Watching the video of Satellite in '94 did it for me. It's my favorite DMB song, and I've followed them ever since

I first heard DMB pretty late on...being from England. I spent a year in PA back in '98, and heard Crush in a friends car...I thought: mmmmm...that's smooth..

when i was pretty young (4th grade?), i had a babysitter that would come to our house while my parents were at work. we went somewhere in her stick shift convertable (she let me shift it sometimes) and ants marching came on the radio. she said that i would probably like the band, so she got me under the table and dreaming. i listened to that cd non stop. it was the only cd i listened to for about a year. a few years later, i was on my friends moter boat, and he was playing before those crowded streets, and i decided i should just get the rest of the albums. when i turned 16, my parents bought me a guitar, and my passion for dave's music rocketed.

It wasn't really a particular song, more like the whole UTTAD album, which I ended up "kidnapping" from my dad. I kidnapped his BTCS album too... 8)

Pantala Naga Pampa
The most beautiful little instrumental piece I know of. Makes me want to learn all those instruments so I can play it on my own.

I think I would have to say One Sweet World. I had listen to DMB for a while but that song put me over the top. I used to listen to this one live version over and over and then after that I just started to love all of their music.

When 'What Would You Say' started getting radio play, I was on my way to work and I was in the middle of a very busy intersection making a left turn, when 'WWYS' came on. I had heard parts of it here and there, for about a week or two prior. I slammed on the brakes and listened to it so I could catch the artists name. Having not got my ass killed, I heard the DJ say the Dave Matthews Band. That night when I got off work (about 12am), I went to the Super Wally World and bought the CD and have been hooked ever since.
