Anyone here a DMB Cd-R (Bootleg) trader?

Unread post by Fedorov Express » Sun Jan 12, 2003 4:18 pm

Is anyone here into DMB bootleg cd-r trading? I am trying to get into it and have no shows to offer. I am willing to pay for a few shows. Please e-mail with what you have and we'll work out a reasonable deal.

Thank You!

Don't use the word bootleg, as trading Dave *live* recordings (unreleased) is perfectly legal and encouraged... and please don't ever "pay" for a show, many people are perfectly willing to offer what is called a "B&P" (which means they will send you a show for the cost of blank CD-R's and postage). If you have a fast Internet connection, then you can get shows off of AM.org or etree.org.

a b&p isn't for the cost of postage and blanks, the person wanting the show will mail the blank cd's and a return envelope with the postage already on it, so no money is ever involved.

from antsmarching.org , you have to download the songs and convert them to .wav files and then you can listen to them.

or you can do the easier thing and get the ShnAmp plugin for winamp from etree.org so you don't have to decompress at all, just play shorten's on the fly (but you will still have to convert to .wav if you want to burn them onto cd)
