Dave Matthews music lovers in the U.K.

Any guys in the UK?

It's terribly frustrating not being able to discuss or see DM concerts and tours, 'cause there never are any!

Anyone here wanting to meet up for a drink or a jam?

How's it billy???! I've been feelin a bit of a loner over the past few years when it comes to DM. No ones fu*#in heard of em. I remember when he was promoting Space Between and played amazingly on his own on CD:UK. The audience were in awe at the end of that performance, Cat Deely and whoever were raving about it... and he hardly got into the top 20??? What's all that about??

Be great if we can get a few together and meet up. Would be a wicked laugh.

Do you play guitar?

Did I see DM in the UK?

The gig in Highbury and Islington, right? Let me tell you about that. It said on ticket master the tickets were due for release on Tuesday, right. A week before, everyday, I'd check to see if they were being released early. Monday morning I check and it says Sold Out. I was fuming...and gutted.

Was that the first time you saw him, or was the Virgin gig first? What was it like?

I had a good look round the boards last night. I'm quite taken back. There's quite a community here. I couldn't find your Pearl Jam cover, but I found a couple others. I'm not sure I wanna Jam with you now, I might bring you down! They're really good. Just what I've been looking for really, and Londons only an hour away. I'll have to post a cover myself so you know what you're letting yourself in for first.
Do you have that #41 Piano that everyone was ravin about?? I've searched for it all over the web, all links are dead.

I had the same problem with the tickets.... it was so damn frustrating.

I ended up just going to the concert and hoping some fucks would be skalping tickets outside... and sure as hell they were..for £150!!

I wanted to punch the guy when he told me the price, especially since he bought them for £14.50
But hey I figured this is a once in a life time oppurtunity, Dave doesn't come over very often so screw it..
I paid for it and I dont regret it, I was so damn close to the stage, third row.
Dave kept saying we were scaring him cause the place was so small and we were so close.
The crowd was a bit loud.. and the set was ok, so much to say was a treat and so was watchtower.
Seemed like the greatest show when I was there but once you listen to the tape it seems a bit bleh.
In comparison to something like benaroya hall.

Anyway, yeah it was awesome. i'll shut up now.
That may have been my longest post....hmm
