It's the best setlist on the Winter tour BY FAR. I would give my left....um.....eye to have been at that show.

Here's a couple indications of how the night went. They started off with Drive in, Drive out. As SOON as the song ended, Dave looked back at Carter and starting pumping his fist and saying..."Yes! Yes! Yes!"

They break out another mic stand during Too Much.....then all of the sudden Dave goes "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN.......THE GODFATHER OF SOUL.....JAMES BROWN" The place goes NUTS.

Got to watch Dave try and mimic James Brown's little crazy dance. Watch Dave do a little dance w/ James and his backup singer.

Encore, Dave comes out. A guy throw's up a santa hat. Dave puts it on, and starts a little Christmas song tease...with a smile on his face. He stops the tease...looks at carter and goes    THROWS THE HAT OFF AND GOES INTO A NASTY VERSION OF HALLOWEEN. Then carter puts on the Santa hat for Ants. It was unreal, I am telling you, BY FAR the best of the tour.....anyway....Have a good one and a Merry Christmas

I think it had more to do with the bands mood, energy and the 'feel' of the show moreso than just the tunes themselves. Although, Drive in Drive Out, is a GREAT opener. And plus, a show has to have some quite songs i.e. Loving Wings, WAYG, Let You Down, etc. so as to build up for the louder, more energetic songs. It's all about tension and release.

P.S. I'm liking Fool To Think more and more all the time. its a quick song but it's frickin' cool.

haha, I downloaded the show about a month ago. That's what started me to like the song more and to learn to play it. It's fun to play - tough - but fun. I'm working on singing it while playing, which is always tricky with Dave tunes. anyway yeah, the Benaroya hall show was great overall.
good, and you?
