1999 March 14 the Headwater Benefit. Besides the horrid tainted (imo) All Along the Watchtower this show is awesome. If you havent heard this show you need to, you may have to get a media player that will play shn's but you can get that all from the site. Just go to help w/ download.

I'm downloading as I speak. I don't know if there's enough room on my computer but I'm gonna give it a whirl. It's like trying to see how far you can get with your car with the gas tank on the empty :) like in Seinfeld. woooohooooo,.
good, and you?

Weir just added a different flavour to the song. I didn't mind it because it was different. I wonder what Dave thought...

Peace

I didnt enjoy it much at all, it seemed like Tim tried to compensate from it by adding more effects than usual which was pretty cool

I agree, the Forest Benefit is an awesome show, isn't it the last D&T show that they did? I love the way Tim play's Two Step and i think this show has the best version of What Will Become of Me also due to Timmies cool effects. Does anybody know if on John the Revelator and Love of My Life if Tim play's with Dave and Carlos Santana? JTR is an amazing song, very fun to play.
Dave got especially fucked up for that show, I believe Bob Weir had something to do with that. It was embarrasing listening to Dave try and tell that long intro story to Ants when he was obviously spun out, stoned and probably drunk  . He told the story much better on StoryTellers on VH1, even though he was totally baked at that show as well.
How many D&T shows are there that have been recorded?

no no no, dont convert them, play them as .shn's much better quality.
and yes tim does play on the two songs that santana plays on, he outdoes santana on his own song imo (love of my life).

Nope, you shouldn't lose any quality. In fact, I don't think that you can play the files from the .shn format as they represent a compressed version of the file. Converting to a .wav is simply decompressing the file. At least that's what I thought. I think samurai might be confusing .mp3 with .wav Going from the .shn to .wav does not decrease the quality.

yes, I thought of that after I posted that he might've thought I said mp3. wav is the highest quality I thought.
