Okay, so this was 6String and my first DMB concert, and.........

Wow.

I'm not sure I've ever been so blown away before-

First off, setlist:
Satellite
Rhyme and Reason
#41
So Right
Granny
Help Myself
Sleep to Dream Her
Bartender
I Did It
Stay (Wasting Time)
Crash Into Me
Jimi Thing
Grey Street
Two Step
---
Digging a Ditch
So Much to Say ->
Anyone Seen the Bridge? ->
Pantala Naga Pampa ->
Rapunzel

Not the best, but I certainly enjoyed it.

Anywho, I had gone into this concert completely freaked out because of how badly Boyd had been playing in the shows I had downloaded of this tour, and because all of what gcom was saying.

But Boyd was AWESOME! I don't think I heard a single wrong note the entire concert... entire band was on fire, you could tell how much fun they were all having.

Okay, a highlight of some songs:
-#41 - it was very good, had a good jam IIRC
-Bartender - sent chills up and down my spine (shut up) - it was great, Butch solo, pennywhistle outro
-I Did It - coulda done without it, but I was sincerely enjoying it, much more than I ever have
-Jimi Thing - probably my favorite song of the night, it was great, really long jams and solos (including a Dave solo, yay!)
-Grey Street - great, tons of energy
-Two Step - quite good, great set closer
-AWSTB->PNP->Rapunzel - VERY good, tons of energy throughout the entire place

First >2-song encore of the tour (I think, correct me if I'm wrong) - and it was 5 songs (including 2 segues)!

Anywho, thanks to everyone who read the longwinded post (though I'm sure there are very few who care about my wonderful experience at my first dmb concert).

Anyone else there? Jason, I know you were happy for the SMTS in the encore :wink:

Glad you enjoyed it, TBill & 6. :) I wish I could have been there, but such is life.
