05/27/2008

Keyboardist Butch Taylor has decided to leave Dave Matthews Band. We are saddened by this sudden news but he has our full support. He’s given so much to us and our audience through the years and he will be missed.

Wow, I like him but Im not incredibly saddened. Just shocked is all, I wonder why he did it, especially 3 days before the tour starts.

shit! Why couldn't Rashawn leave, and Butch stay? Is it still too late for a trade?

in all seriousness though, I really really liked his presence and sound in the band. It was never obnoxious (Rashawn) but it wasn't non-existant either. In fact it added to a lot of songs I thought I decided were just "ok" before.

Wow. I really liked some things he added to the band. It will be kind of nice to hear the band without him, though.
