Need some help with DMB songs for a wedding

Unread post by OferTsur » Tue Mar 25, 2008 5:37 pm

Hello
My sister is getting married and we're looking for a Dave's song to be played while walking down the aisle.
Do you have any idea except for Crush, Crash into me, Fool to Think and So Right? The lyrics don't have to be 100% perfect.
I really like Space Between but do you think the lyrics would be raelly bad for this thing?

Thanks alot!

I do not think it would be a good idea to have a DMB song playing while someone is walking down the aisle.

I think the most fitting song would be I'll Back You Up.

I think it's absurd that you're not considering So Right. That's clearly the best choice.

I am considering it. I just already thought of that, and that's why I asked for others.

Well, I tend to agree with that, but I'm not from the states and we have different stlye of weddings, and besides that what the bride wants :)

Have you thought about having someone play an instrumental version on the acoustic guitar? No worries about lyrics, much nicer sound!

My sister did the same thing at her wedding, but she used bluegrass versions of DMB songs. She had a bluegrass Jimi Thing playing while the brides/grooms people walked down the aisle. Then a bluegrass version of St. Patrick's Day (John Mayer) while she did.
