Fonz, 6/21 GIG

I'm just wondering if anyone was at Blossom the other night to hear GIG... if you haven't heard yet, Stefan broke out an electric slide guitar for a fantastic solo on the intro. It sounds alot like the intro on the album, except that this one was much, much longer & intense. I'm really not a huge fan of the song, but this was by FAR the best version I've ever heard. They played it again tonight (6/23), but I haven't heard if they jammed it out again. Any thoughts, comments?

he did that a few times last summer...it was cool.

didn't do it at polaris last week though. :(

I was at Blossom and thought it was pretty damn sweet too. At first I had no clue what was goin on, then someone behind my said that stefan was playing the keyboard and I looked up on stage, noticed immediately that it was some type of slide guitar, and laughed. But yeah, the solo was really cool. They played a ton of rather mellow, non-exciting songs for that show that are really rare, so I was pretty darn happy. But after hearing the full-band live version of Dreaming Tree, I must say that I think Firedancer86's is much better. But it was still a treat to witness them play that song.
