How Hard Is Getting Good Seats?

Unread post by m98ter » Sat Jun 21, 2003 7:39 pm

I think I'm going to try and go to Farm Aid this year, and I was just curious as to how hard it is to get lower level seats. I dont care a bit to shell out the $78 bucks for them, but I've never tried to get good seats to a show before, so I dont really know how it works. If you sign into ticketmaster the instant they go on sale, is there a chance you could end up with something decent? Is it better to call the ticketmaster number? Id really love to go to this, but I really dont want to travel to Ohio (im from MO) if im stuck really far away. I'm thinking as long as its in the lower level that it would probably be pretty cool. Any thoughts are appreciated.

you have to get lucky with ticketmaster....i signed on instantly for MSG and ended up in the 300 section behind the stage...but i did it for polaris (where farmaid is but you might have a bigger crowd isnce it is a single event as opposed to one in many dmb concerts) and got Row T, which i thought was really good. just gotta get lucky and have a fast connection.

you may be luckier going to a TM outlet. since it's just one show, there shouldn't be too big a line.

and thanks for reminding me that Farmaid is in my hometown but i cant go cause i'll be at school... :P

Join the warehouse. Even then its still just dumb luck, but your odds are a little bit better than tm. Other than paying ebay prices, there arent too many other options...
