Unread post by DMBguitaristJMB » Tue Apr 17, 2007 4:53 pm

hey my name is justin, i have been a big dave fan for a long time, been to what some would call too many dmb concerts, know all of daves songs on guitar......but have only seen dave and tim play together at madison square garden at the start of a dave and friends show......i was really just wondering how the sound/ the feel of the concerts are in a small intimate venue like radio city......so if any of you would like to share your experience that would be great!! THank you!!

ps. the reason im posting this is cause im going to radio city and im as happy as a school girl and cant wait!!!!

I'm concerned that the Mullins Center isn't going to be a very intimate venue. It's like a gymnasium.

i saw them there in '03 and it was fine. I'm not sure if this show will be the half arena setup like in '03 or not. that was an amazing show. i'm going to the wang center show on friday and i'm super pumped. 3600 seat theater and i'm 15 rows back, dead center. :)

Man, i wish i had been to a bunch of d+t shows and could tell you a long and extremely in-depth explanation of the show, but i haven't :(
I have a lot of d+t recordings ranging from 93-present and i guess i could say, don't be that guy yelling for spotlight or any other song for that matter during the show. Dave will speak if you let him and davespeak is always a great time. I have no real advice so i'm going to bow out.....right now.

I saw Dave at the first solo show in London (Kings College) last year. Crowd wasnt bigger than 200 or so, and it was amazing. At venues like that you're so close to the stage wherever you stand so youre gonna have a great view whatever you do. Youre gonna have a great time.

Ive only ever seen Dave or Dave & Tim so i cant compare it to DMB. But the 3 ive been to were all amazing for there own reasons. So close to the stage, just so cool.
