So have any of you ever meet anyone from the band? Tell your stories...were they cool folk?

wish i have but alas, it never came to be. oh well. i remember reading about this guy who sat and had a drink w/ boyd and didnt know who he was. i think dave never came up the whole time. or the band. it was just chit chat. wild.

i waited outside by the buses and met stefan once....just talked about playing and stuff...he's quite short...

that's about it....

the only other artist I met was Jason Mraz....that was pretty cool..chatte dit up for about 1/2 on hour after his show...

I met Carter after they played Mars Music Amphitheatre (now the SoundAdvice Amp.) in West Palm Beach, Florida. He had to fly out that same night in a private jet. A Gulfstream 4 from NetJets out of Signature Flight Support PBI, if you need to know the details. We had just seen the show and went back to the airport to regroup with some friends when here comes this big bus. I ask my friends the Customer Service Reps. behind the desk, "who is in it?" She looked at her manifest sheet for the plane and said, BEAUFORD. :shock:

I ran out next to the plane on the ramp (I'm a pilot, I'm allowed

) He came out, "Great Show" I said. "Thank you, glad you liked it." he said. We shook hands and he climbed on the plane. I didn't see anyone else but I'm sure the whole band was in that bus.

What I wouldn't give to have had my guitar there for the whole band to sign. :roll:
