i'm trying to be optimistic, the last time they road tested songs was when hello again, crazy easy, sugar will, and joyride were introduced in the 04 tour - if they're anything like that i can't wait

Road testing is good. That way if the songs do suck ass, they have a chance to refine them before they end up on a new album.

that was before they met batson though and learned this new create as many songs as you can writing approach. The summer 04 songs were good because Dave took his time and came up with the songs himself.

If a song sucks on the road then chances are its going to suck in the studio.

I'm not nervous. The way he talked about them before makes me more anxious because they sound better than the last outing.

I really enjoy all of Stand Up, seems I'm one the very few here. They could of put more effort into it, but I enjoy the songs. They're better live, of course.

Haha that is kind of funny that he would say that. I still stick to my guns though, decent album. I'm real excited to hear the new stuff though. The only thing I don't look forward to is the 16-year-old girl next to me that has been screaming "I love you Dave, I wanna have your babies!" turning to her friend and saying "What is this song? I've never heard it. This sucks. Let's go get a soft pretzel" when they play a new song.
