What Cover would you like to hear?

Unread post by czech » Fri Apr 28, 2006 9:47 am

So if the band did a new cover what one would you want them to do?

I was thinking today Iron Lion Zion would sound awesome with a jazzy sax going off, Stefan playing a funky bass line, get some cool organ going on, and the damn damn song is set up perfectly for some long jams.

I was listening to that song the other day in my car and thought the exact same thing.

I don't know why but I think a "Jungle Boogie" cover would sound kick ass, sorta ASTBish.

this is going to sound strange but I think that they could make "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" the funkiest country song in history...

I'd love to see a jethro tull cover with Roi ripping the stage up with his flute.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
