Ok, from time to time I lurk over to ufck.org and see if anything is going on. Today they had a post with a good version of #40. Anyway, they get to talking and one of the guys says that the words are almost identicle to the studio version of #40 (and then says that he will not post it....). I know that guy has talked alot of shit in the past and was probably joking, then they started talking about the BTCS sessions being leaked and it had original dreaming tree lyrics or something. So was just wondering if anyone had or has heard of a #40 studio version being leaked and I'm also looking for info on the BTCS sessions and how different they are. If anyone has anything, I along with a lot of ppl. I'm sure would love to get their greedy little hand on it, so share the love

!
By the way,
http://www.ufck.org/forums/showthread.php?t=153019 is the link to the post, check out the download, it's a good version lyric wise, the best I have heard.

It's probably the Yoshi's (05-10-95, I believe)version. Every so often someone starts claiming they have a studio recording of #40 and it usually turns out to be Yoshi's.

Ya I remember when I found a cleaned up version of Yoshi's that was faded in and out, I thought I had found a studio version... Good shit.

Post it on here, I along with a lot of other ppl. will be able to tell. Also, you could post some lyrics and we would be able to tell... I'm preatty sure that they probably recorded it in the studio, the question is did it ever get out?

If there are people clapping and cheering then you don't have a studio version.

ya but on yoshi's you can't hear that, the first version of it I got my hands on, the peron had faded the track in and out and you can't hear the crowd.

Yoshi's lyrics
c/o dmbalmanac
5.10.95
share the time again
i spend with you
a friend is always good to have
but a lover's kiss is better than angels raining down on me
i dream of you at times when you're by my side
dream you're not just like you are
so troubled and doubling my pain
just with a grin or tear
you shed for me
i wish that i could climb inside your mind
and spend some time in there
i’d hug and hold you
and mold you into what i'd like
but no I can't do this
just a kiss
to spend the while by you
and a familiar smile and voice
while away
then you leave back and smiling
on you
most everything you do for me i say
and the while let's make away
and feel warm
in the middle of this storm with you
with love and through
angel
oh well
oh the friends they say how she’s good while she’s right
i say and if when you were again
when you were a friend
before the lie lie
this one i say
say it oh yeah
yes i do end with you sometimes
but while i do my best
but all the rest i leave to you
can't wait for the hour
and when two things become this
always
all this trouble for a kiss from you i do it
and then you come up smiling
and i'm thrown
until i get a little storm with you i do it
always
oh love lover line up well yeah
found if us abound
if leave it you go
oh well i was stole
oh well i'm rolling
the road to you is long
and i've been on it for a while
but i need to rode away
i'll take a break
oh cause i dont want to leave me away
always
and you are
all there
time
i’ll give in
and feel
tired
ants always marching on . . .

Can somebody post a copy of this song? Ive never heard the whole thing, the closest Ive come was over the summer at one of the shows I went to the band started to play it for the encore opener but the sound guy fucked up and there was some really bad feedback and Dave got pissed and stopped the song.
