Multiple album releases with variations
Well last week I was on vacation in Quebec, skiing at Mount Tremblant (any Canadians would know where it is). Anyway I was in a sports shop in the village and they were playing Busted Stuff, the strange thing was though that it was completely different musically and lyrically from the version that I have. I only heard Captain which had some strange guitar and sax playing as well as large variations in vocals and Kit Kat Jam which actually had Dave doing some strange vocals too and LeRoi wasnt even playing the same parts that he does in the official release. Is it possible that they did a different studio rendition and had a limited release of it?

yup...Nitro1515 wrote:They must have been playing the Lillywhite Sessions which were the early unfinished recordings of the songs that were officially released on Busted Stuff

i must say I agree. I am not one to must hear every different of every song, just special or unique ones, maybe some early cuts. But LWS are an important aspect of the DMB story, not just the songs themselves, but the whole story behind the whole thing

Yeah. I would love to hear the LWS 'version' of those songs in higher quality, studio remastered style all that shit.lakerhoc1121 wrote:wow... i am blown away.... i jsut downloaded this and i must say that if it were onsale in a store for a rediculous amount of money i would pay that price... simply awesomecarter29 wrote:i must say I agree.
