COMPUTER NERDS I NEED YOUR HELP!

Unread post by Elliottman » Wed Mar 15, 2006 3:45 pm

so before tonight, i NEVER got pop-ups. ok maybe like 1 every couple of days. But tonight i went on to a site that my friend told me to go on to get a serial number and Norton went fucking nuts!

Then ever since my computer is just being bombarded with pop-ups. Ive ran Norton 3 times and it deleted some of them and said others couldnt be deleted and im still getting shit loads of pop-ups. I know u can get things to stop them , but considering i wasnt get any a few hours ago, there must be something else i can do?

any help appreciated!

Get a firewall. I think a company called zone alarm has a free package online somewhere.

i take it you went to a warez site to get a serial number because you are trying to use pirated software haha it happens. Those sites will give you serial numbers for the software but you also get unharmful viruses that norton cant remove. Just click on the link in norton to get more info about the virus and it will tell you how to manual remove it. its easy

dont talk about this stuff on here, its highly illegal. Brock will rip your nuts off. Just do what i said, run norton and click on the link that says more info or something like that. It will give you a link to Nortons website to show you how to remove the virus manualyl
