Thoughts on C'ville Shows

Unread post by Lexington Steele » Thu Mar 02, 2006 1:00 pm

What do you guys honestly think about these 2 shows? They are ending the tour there so obviously as usual they will go out with a bang. I went to the Gorge last year and as far as the overall experience (shows, venue, camping, travel) it was amazing. Anyone really think that 2 shows in a c'ville arena to end the tour will out do everything that involves seeing them at the Gorge. I know the C'ville shows will help out my rarity index over at Ants  but would a Halloween or #40 indoors, then back to the hotel be better than a solid LIOG jam under the stars over looking the river and camping? Too bad i can't just afford both.

Maybe they'll call it quits at the end of the second show.

When in Charlottesville, I think they like to play older material because of the familiar feel of the old days. I would probably rather be outdoors camping but not having that option personally I'm doing to enjoy the indoor show. I expect them to rock the house and am going to be getting seats as nice as possible for both shows.

I can't imagine them calling it quits at this point - why walk away now? They still sell out every show they play, they clearly like the new material, and they still seem to enjoy what they are doing. Lets hope they keep it up for a good while to come.

I don't want to start listening to radiohead and counting crows on an un-heathy level again
