Is it too early to start getting really excited about the Gorge? I just noticed the date and I am stoked to think that 3 months from right now I will be kicking back, guitar in hand, pint of foaming ale close by, warming up for the show. I got reserved seating through Warehouse for the second night so I hope to be really close.
I like the idea of a pack of you Easterners putting an epic road trip together. Don't be afraid of not having tickets. I drove down for the final show last year with no tickets and there was a guy standing in my parking spot with a mitful. He made five bucks each and we had tix before I even shut the car off. Mind you, I only had to drive four hours. I may think differently if it were four time zones...
A campfire jam on Friday, August 8th is a requirement.

Its never to early for the Gorge. I dont have tickets yet for this year, but I'm not worried about it. I can prob. get them if I need them from a little hookup I've got going.Tamjim wrote:Is it too early to start getting really excited about the Gorge? I was there last year and luckily had great tix to all three shows. It was probably the best week of my life. As far as getting tickets at the show, Sunday people had all kinds of extra tickets, but for the weekend nights (Fri. and Sat.) people were running around the parking lot looking for scalpers or anyone who had extra tix and they were nowhere to be found. One guy I met up there had to go back to the campsite; he couldnt even score a lawn ticket on sat. night.
