IM Afraid this Would Happen....
Well People its been 10 Long & Great years for Me. In those years I've made DMB a Huge part of my life, pretty much the foundation of everything I have achieved or believed in. I have been to countless shows, Have all the autographs,(even a signed guitar), Books, Guitar Picks, Photos, etc.
I can say that I was a very true and loyal fan. I remember not listening to anything else but DMB. I thought what was the point, These Guys are the best musicians EVER! I remember trying to spread DMB around my college campus in 94 -95. I remember going to a DAVE & TIM show that wasn't sold out!
My point is....Its not like it used to be. Too many assholes are now involved....especially younger people who don't know how to appreciate music. (note: not all young people are assholes)
Too many drunk Frat boys & sorority sisters have taken over what was truly a great scene.
I feel like theres no more room for me....and people like me. People who just wan't to listen without the buzz. The buzz being all the annoyances that come along with going to a show these days. And to solidify my point read the next sentence.
There was one major complaint at the latest D & T shows. Can you guess what it was? The fans were being rude and loud.
To all those people who have ruined a D & T, or DMB show for somebody...Please go home and never step foot outside again.
I now leave the DMB community and hope to find somewhere where I can feel at home again..
Peace Ya'll -------- I hope you have many great years ahead of you!
Maybe one day I will return -- But I will carry what I have experinced in that past 10 years with me for the rest of my life, and certainly will consider them some of the best.
Best Regards,
Jay

Whatever dude. You know how many people pull this "I was into it way back when, but now everyone sucks so I'm leaving...." thing on internet message boards? If this is your pissy attitude, you should have left when crash came out. There hasnt been a "scene" for dmb like there used to since '96. Frat boys taken over? Shit, uh, how did he get started again? Playing frat houses or something like that? I'm not in a frat, but get over yourself. Dont let the door hit your ass.
