What to play (Hopefully the right forum)
What to play (Hopefully the right forum)
Like many of you guys here, I can play quite a few DMB songs on the guitar. The other day, I was at a Christmas party for work and a friend brought his guitar since he is learning how to play and wanted me to show him a couple of songs. Now of course I played a few Dave songs, mainly Crash, Ants, and WWYS becasue most people I think know those songs. In fact they did but didn't know the lyrics and I understand that. But the problem was is that I really don't know songs to play that are popular with people in which everyone can sing along. For example, people sitting around a campfire and there is a guy playing a guitar and everyone is singing along, that is probaly the classic example. The question is: Does anyone have any suggetsions of songs that I can learn that almost everyone will know?

if you're looking for Dave songs, i'd pull out WAYG, Crush, or Grace is Gone (Crash works the best, but you said you already played that). you'll usually get a nice response with those from any women in the crowd that are even sorta into DMB

I believe it is a rendition of that song: "but we're never gonna survive, unless we get a little crazy" Is the song called crazy? My cousin who is a excellent guitar player used to be neighbors with seal and he worked with him on some tunes. said he is a really cool guy, loves to mountain bike.czech wrote:what's that Seal song he is singing in that new commercial?
