Some interesting info on what was actually recorded during the sessions.

Notes:
* This is the same new song from the 04 studio sessions.

Clip #4 is a song recorded by the band during the sessions that appeared on the Stand Up website.

Boyd Sings is what we call the untitled song that Boyd sang lead on during the sessions.

there were also about 12 jams, some very short, and some full-fledged songs. Most of the stuff in studio was unnamed, so we may have some confirmation on some other titles done during these sessions.

oh, haha. yeah I think Jake is off sometimes with his interpretations. There is a thing on the SU DVD where Dave is writing the lyrics to Stand Up and he is talking about making it about sex and drugs so I think the "shoot you up again" part is about drugs and not his penis.

I am more upset know that Sugar Will and Crazy-Easy were at least attempted to be recorded and no result.

I'm confused. Is this available for download? I would love to hear what the unreleased summer '04 songs sound like in the studio.

Well hopefully all of the summer '04 songs make it on their next album. I'm still baffled over what happened to them. I mean those were some of the best songs they have come up with in years.

Well I hope for everyone's sake that doesn't end up being the case. These are quality songs, they deserve the studio treatment. I like the fact that they can come up with a lot of song ideas with Batson. But can't they just smoke blunts with him or whatever and do that on their own time? Then once they have the song ideas they should go to a producer that will put in the effort and some high production values into them.

you really wanted Baston to ruin those songs as well? I am more than happy that they were left off.

I don't get what ants is trying to do here. We already knew that the summer 04 songs were recorded, rather, I think it was a given. Hmmm. And then he just throws out some number of jams. Weird. Am I missing something that like, there was BTCS part II on the table and they released what we have instead?
