Really cool interview. They talk about BTCS and the writing process with it and previous albums, makes me wish they still did write like that.

cool interview, few comments:

Boyds hair is terrible:)

Dave seemed stone sober, giving a little bit of evidence that he gets a rip on for other interviews maybe...whole other topic that is

Those were the days for DMB though, how come they dont love recording like that anymore? Guest musicians...actually letting songs progress...no drum machines...gah

It was good to see dave sober though, especially then when he was doing like a fifth of booze and a bowl before hitting the stage. He just seems so relaxed and natural and subdoed.

He gives bad interviews though, I find he always stutters and cant complete sentences

It's funny that this interview contradicts everything the band mentions of the Stand Up recording process.

I always think that when one makes their first commercial album and even if it is rec'd with critical acclaim the expectation to make more albums that good are staggering.

Just think musicians and hacks out there, your first album consists of everything you've worked on over the years and polished over YEARS!

The biz wants something within 1 year that's THAT good if not better. That's a hard card to follow!
