enjoy playing all his popular works like warehouse and the ones everyone knows at concerts? Or is it just something he does to get paid? Opinions of course.

Have you ever seen them live or videos of them live? They have a blast, that's definately for real.. If you mean popular works like Crash, he may have got tired of that seeing as it's such a big hit.
But they love to put it on live cd's thats for sure..

I don't think Warehouse is a "popular work" in the sense where non-fans still know it. I think Crash and Satellite and Where Are You Going are the popular works. And what the hell does it matter? He's going to get paid anyway. People buy the tickets before they know what he is going to play. He plays what he and the band want to play.

well people loved JTR and SUAD and theyre gone because they band didnt like playing them, and some songs go away for years, so id assume songs they dont like playing much would go away.

I watched a video of them playing spoon (courtesy of mr. peavear, of course) and the version sounded empty and the band did not seem into it at all. Its no wonder than song resurfaced and then sank so fast.

the man has enough money. i think if touring got to be a "job" for them they would quit.

i think maybe in the "early days" the record label had some sort or control on what songs the band play'd, but after "crash" i don't think any "producer" or "record label" has ever told the "band" what they can and cannot do. (sorry for all the "", i think i took it "alittle" too "far".)

I always get the impression Dave and Carter are really food friends and the rest are jelous. Dont know why? Maybe cause they always smile at each other? :?

carter played frequently at the place where dave bartended so they knew each other thru there before they made a band. consequently carter was the first one dave recruited i believe...i dont know if that explains your thought....

They say in DMB the videos, that Dave is very conscious of Carter's temperament, making sure Carter is happy because if carter is not in it then the rest of the band and eventually the whole concert will go down the shit hole.
