Did you get the links I sent you in the PM
If you did, YOU'RE WELCOME.

If for some reason you didn't get those links, I apologize for what I will be said next.

Do NOT ever ask me for anything regarding Dave media. I took my personal time to convert those files for only you and I have not heard anything back regarding these links. A simple Thank you will do. That's all I ask.

He doesn't come here all that often, like most of us do. He isn't here all the time, so he probably didn't get around to getting them. Give him some time, he'll give you a thank you

Jellyfish-I just wanted to THANK YOU for validating my belief that the majority of people who offer charity are doing so only to expect something in return, including a THANK YOU. Your little rant reminded me of someone who would volunteer to cook at Ronald McDonald's house and then ask the kids to do the dishes. True charity never requires a THANK YOU. Sure it's nice and all, but if you dont hear those precious two words, and you have problem with it, then maybe you should take a closer look at your true intentions. Dont mean to be harsh, but you were just that with Ranting.

THANK YOU,

BADGERDJQ

You're Welcome.

Situation: Ranting asks for somebody to help him out. Nobody offered to help him, being the nice guy I am I offered to rip the encoded streams & make them available for him to DL and view. I sent him the links to his PM box and never heard from him. First off, Do you think this doesn't take up any of my personal time? I have no clue who you are or how old you might be, but I work for a living. I start at 8 and sometimes my job doesn't let me get home till 6-7 pm. Then once I get home I have to walk my dog, Run, take care of the daily house chores, shower & cook dinner. By this time it is close to 8:30 - 9:00 pm.

With that said, my days are usually very busy. I did NOT have to respond to Ranting's post, and in hindsight, I shouldn't have.

I have done a lot of favors and offered software, B n P's, cracks, & games.
Whenever somebody receives something I laways get a thank you. And that's all I need. I grew up on a Golden Rule, always say Please & Thank you. That leads into my next thought.

It only makes sense to treat others the way you would want to be treated. Cultures all over the world have some variation of the Golden Rule. The help of others is what makes someone successful, and most people realize that intuitively. Treating others with respect is something everyone should do because they should have respect for their peers.

I'm sorry you weren't raised in a way that encourages respect for people who take time out of their lives to help others. So go live your life leaching off of others & remember to never say Thank You.

And by the way. You have no fucking clue about me or my life. And my fucking intentions were to help somebody out. I felt I was disrespected by not hearing anything from him.

Dickhead.

Thank You,

J-

I know. My favorite thing about his post is his "ill suited" analogy about asking kids to do the dishes. I don't see the correlation with what dickhead said & what I did.

*dickhead is badger

I bet we dn't see this guy around anymore.

Jellyfish...just so you know, I am 30 years old. I have two jobs. So I know how precious your free time is. What bugged me about your reply to Ranting was that it was barely 24 hours later (unless I am misinterpreting the post times), and your whining about not getting a thank you! Was it so important to get that thank you, that you couldn't wait for more than 24 hours before dropping the hammer? Also, I never knew that there was a Golden Rule B, that states "if you dont get a Thank You, you have the right to bitch and moan". One more thing...I bet you will see me around here.
